Foundation Posts Fall 2011 Newsletter

The December 2011 Foundation newsletter reviews the year in articles and pictures and announces the 2012 Symposium. We are also happy to report on the opening of the Sept 11 Memorial in early 2012, featuring the "Wings Saga" which describes the story of the Sara Low family and how a set of American Airlines Flight Attendant Wings came to play a role in the war on terrorism. 2012 International Humanitarian Assistance Symposium Announced: June 7 & 8, 2012

The Family Assistance Foundation is pleased to announce that the International Humanitarian Assistance Symposium will be held in Miami, June 7th and 8th, 2012. Organized by The Family Assistance Foundation and Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services, the symposium will enhance industry response to emergencies and disasters, uniting different sectors through knowledge sharing and thus ensuring those involved in an unforeseen tragedy are given the support they need. The two-day event will consist of a series of educational panels, practical workshops and experiences recounted first hand by disaster and accident survivors.
