Survivor Outreach

Survivors play an important role in the Family Assistance Foundation as they provide the most important source for information on how best to assist passenger and family survivors following transportation disasters.

In addition to our survivor board members, many other survivors work with, and support the Foundation's efforts to educate those who desire to help by participating in the Foundation's Symposium and workshops. Dr. Carolyn Coarsey serves as the Foundation's Survivor Liaison and continues to collaborate with survivors for the purpose of creating videos and other training materials to increase awareness on the issues surrounding mass transportation trauma for both survivors and helpers.
