Airport Community Workshop

Events worldwide have highlighted the importance of providing prompt, effective family assistance (Care Team) support in the airport environment. This challenge exists for incidents involving an airline, which typically needs time to mobilize its own Care Team to the scene, or a non-aviation crisis.

Airport Community Workshop is a multifaceted, collaborative, and cost-effective effort between airports and the Family Assistance Education & Research Foundation. The objective is to help airports successfully meet peoples’ needs in a crisis by supplementing existing plans and resources with additional assets, skills, knowledge, and coordination.
